Real-time flow

Five pieces of software, one language. This is how an order travels through the whole system.

When an order is placed, it reaches the waiter and the POS in full; anything that doesn't need the kitchen (like drinks) is marked yellow, ready to serve
The remaining dishes go to the kitchen; if there are several, each item is routed to the right one
When the kitchen finishes a dish, it is automatically marked yellow in the waiter's app
Customers see the status at all times: being prepared, on its way and delivered
In the tables view, the waiter and the POS see each table's color: yellow if something is ready to serve, red if they request assistance, blue if they have already paid
If the restaurant enables it, customers can order their dishes by course (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and they reach the kitchen in that order
